This Vienna 144 Bentwood Stool with a woven cane seat was originally designed in 1908 by August Thonet for Gebruder Thonet. The stool is a classic for public seating, with solid, functional and elegant characteristics. The structure is in bent beech wood. The ring element, made from a single piece, is a construction device that has been inserted to add stability to the feet. It is available in different heights and finishes. The seat is made from woven cane, and can also be in wood veneer or upholstered in leather or fabric.
